Been at work on my Mega Man Legends world story, Legends of the Halcyon Era, though judging from the lack of... anything here, I don't know whether I should keep updating about it here or not.

That said, there's a new #LegendsOfTheHalcyonEra episode up! "Muffin Doin'" takes a look at a day in the life of our newest cast member, Celeste, as well as a little more of a peek at the town and its people.

This one is a little different in a few ways... For starters, I wrote it to be a good jumping-on point for anyone interested in checking out the series without having to read up on everything that came before. You can catch up at your leisure!

It's also the first wholly-original work for the series I've done in ~20 years! The other parts so far have been adapted from RPG logs, but this one is completely original from the ground up! So it's a little exciting, but also a touch intimidating.

If you give it a shot, I hope you enjoy it and will stick around, because the best is yet to come!

Ack, I've been forgetting to update here with my latest exploits.

All month long, I'm posting new chapters for a Legends of the Halcyon Era story called "The Devil's Yard Journey," which has a theme befitting the month of Halloween.

Five chapters are up already, and more are to come, culminating in the finale on October 31st! You can find the first part at The Mega Man Network, and also at Archive Of Our Own.

So... been quiet here for a bit lately. More recently, though, I've been at work on something.

While I could charitably be described as "passable" as an artist, my strength has arguably been more in writing. Despite this, I haven't really written much that isn't articles, interviews, guides, or the like. But now, I've finally decided to dip my toe into the wide world of writing fiction.

Mega Man Legends fiction, to be more precise. Kind of.

Today, I present what I've been working away at for the last several months: Legends of the Halcyon Era, a fan fiction that takes place in the world of Mega Man Legends.
