Some more of me in my Movie/Bob Hoskins Mario cosplay from Otakon 2011.
Perhaps I should have sought out a group of Mario cosplayers for pictures. I don't even know if they have actual gatherings, or when, or where to find out. Maybe next year.
But, all my friends are at OtaRockman, and so that is where I went. At least I got to live my dream of blowing up Heat Man. Or pretending to, at least.
The funny thing is, I was trying to hold the lid open, as if I were going to toss my Bob-omb in, but they must have thought I was really going to, as they kept trying to move back each time I tried to get the thing open, thus forcing it shut. So I'm not sure if the intended image came across well on-camera.
