Moonrazor: Dragon Knight

Description

Here is yet another one of my Mechadrake Reploids of 21XX

Moonrazor is, like Edge, a member of the Dragon Knights. He's sort of the "reckless youth" type of character: Daring, crazy, maybe a little stupid sometimes, and a bit of a joker, but with a good, solid heart deep down underneath.

I'd liken him to Michelangelo of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (well, some versions), though a better parallel may be Hot Rod/Hot Shot from TransFormers.

This one is actually really bad, but out of boredom, I came up with the design and sketched it out with what room I had on a scrap of paper at the time (I Photoshopped out the wrinkles and such from the paper). Proportions and perspective are wonky, and sadly, I just have never found the time to refine it. But the main thing I wanted to get down was the armor design, which is mostly standard across the males, but not completely.

Moonrazor's does have a few extra, non-standard elements: Notably, his namesake moons on his chest, elbows, knees, and shoulders.

He also has a brother in Sunflame, who's a much more surly character. I did a sketch, at least of his body, but I'm not sure I ever scanned it, or where the image might be. If I find it, I'll post it.

Never did settle on colors for him, except one: His scales are silver. And his underlayer of armor is a dark grey/black, of course.

Weapon-wise, unseen are his frost-breath, which actually allows him to do some tricks like Iceman from the X-men. He also packs a pair of sipher styled swords (barely visible on his back), like Strider carries. Or, if it's any easier to imagine, like Snake-eyes did in GI Joe Sigma 6. And of course there are his horns, fangs, claws, all the fun stuff that comes with being a dragon.
